Dominique Doyle

General Manager, Agsafe Limited

Dominique has a detailed understanding of the AgVet chemical industry issues, particularly regarding the supply chain and reseller markets, and has been transforming Agsafe’s operations since 2018.  She has 30 years of experience across large and small enterprises in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, including government agencies.  Dominique’s understanding of the importance of maintaining sustainable operations, as well as meeting diverse stakeholder expectations, has strengthened Agsafe’s stewardship programs: drumMUSTER, ChemClear as well as member services to the AgVet retail sector.

 

Libby Chaplin

CEO, Battery Stewardship Council

As CEO of the Battery Stewardship Council Libby has been responsible for facilitating development of a national battery stewardship scheme for Australia.   The ACCC recently granted authorisation of the Scheme which is a unique approach that has the capacity to rapidly increase battery collection rates in this country.  For the past 10 years, Libby has specialized in electronics and battery stewardship, working in the US, Canada, and South Korea for clients such as the Green Electronics Council, the US EPA, the International Sustainable Development Foundation, and numerous electronic-waste recyclers.

Kathryn Bellette

Director, Strategy and Assessment, EPA

Kathryn is responsible for development assessment, legislation and policy at the Environment Protection Authority (EPA), including oversight of the waste reform program, and legislative reviews such as the current container deposit scheme review.  Kathryn has spent 35 years working at the interface of environment and development and has held membership of boards, ministerial advisory committees, tertiary education advisory committees and development assessment panels for over 25 years. Kathryn has an enduring interest in ecologically sustainable development including the circular economy.
